By mutual consent with Kappa Sigma Theta-Philippines, Manuel L. Momongan Jr. wanted to continue the close relations with Kappa Delta Phi by means of reviving the name. The obsession of Manuel Jr., of making a sustainable relations of the two fraternities; Kappa Sigma Theta at Yale and Kappa Delta Phi at Wesleyan may be realized for a stronger and mutual relations through a unified coalition.

Manuel Jr. decided to found Kappa Delta Phi, distinct and separate with Kappa Sigma Theta. Merging the two is unlikely to happen knowing that both ended up to disintegration and dissension by the members. On July 16, 2009, Kappa Delta Phi-Philippines was founded and immediately informing Brother Valerie Gillispie an alumnus at Wesleyan University about his plan to build Kappa Delta Phi a means to duplicate what his father did to his two fraternities; the Alpha Delta Phi-Philippines and the Alpha Tau Omega-Philippines, nurturing them with equal attention and dedication to let them fly high equipped with wings that will lead their destiny to greater heights.
